Child Care & Shelter
Many of the children who come to us have experienced deep trauma, neglect, or abandonment.

For them, Hope for Orphans Uganda becomes more than a home—it becomes a family. We provide a nurturing, stable environment where children feel safe, loved, and valued. Our caregivers, many of whom have walked similar paths, understand the pain of loss and the healing power of love.
Children live together in dormitories with attentive house parents who ensure their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. Daily routines include mealtime, chores, study, worship, and play—creating a rhythm of life that restores structure and security. Each child is treated with dignity and respect, with personalized care plans to address their individual circumstances.
We also support the emotional recovery of our children through trauma-informed practices and peer support. By integrating counseling and pastoral care, we help children process their grief, build resilience, and restore trust. Our home is a place of second chances—where every child is seen, known, and given the opportunity to thrive in a Christ-centered family environment.
