At Hope for Orphans Uganda (HOU), we are not just meeting physical needs—we are nurturing hearts for Jesus. Our vision is to see every child not only cared for and educated, but also transformed by the Gospel and equipped to share it with others. Recently, something truly beautiful happened: several of our children gave their lives to Christ, and their baptisms took place right here at Hope School. It was a powerful reminder of what God is doing in the hearts of these young ones. Their joy, boldness, and growing faith moved everyone who witnessed it. At HOU, we believe that when we remove barriers—like hunger, lack of education, and unmet basic needs—children become more receptive to the Word of God. When a child feels safe, loved, and valued, their heart is open to the truth of the Gospel. That’s why our work is holistic: we care for the body, mind, and spirit. As we provide food, shelter, schooling, and a Christ-centered environment, we are creating space for discipleship to flourish. But we cannot do this alone. Help Us Remove More Barriers 🙏 Pray for the spiritual growth of our children💖 Give to support food, education, and discipleship🤝 Partner with us to raise a generation that knows and follows Jesus With your support, we can continue to nurture young disciples of Christ who will carry the light of the Gospel into their families, communities, and nation. To God be all the glory!
At Hope for Orphans Uganda, we believe that every child is created by God with purpose and potential. Through the love of Jesus Christ and the power of education, we are raising a generation of children who will not only overcome poverty but also shine His light in their communities. That’s why we run Hope School, a junior school offering free education to orphans in our care and vulnerable children from the surrounding community. Our mission is to provide a strong foundation in both academics and Christian values—planting seeds of faith, knowledge, and hope in every young heart. By God’s grace, we have been able to construct a few classroom blocks and begin this beautiful work. Our vision is to expand the school to offer full Primary One through Primary Seven education, ensuring that each child can complete their primary education in a safe, loving, Christ-centered environment. However, to make this dream a reality, we need your support—to build more classrooms, pay our passionate and hardworking teachers, and sustain our daily programs. Be a Part of Their Story Would you consider partnering with us to help these children grow into leaders who know Christ and make Him known? 🙏 Pray for our school💖 Give to support a classroom, teacher, or school meal🤝 Share this story and invite others to join Together, we can equip these precious children with the tools they need for a brighter, God-filled future. 👉 Donate Now👉 Learn more Thank you for believing in the power of faith and education.
At Hope for Orphans Uganda, our mission has always been about more than just meeting physical needs—it’s about sharing the love of Jesus and building a future filled with hope. This month, we are celebrating a beautiful milestone: the construction of a new borehole, made possible through the generous support of our faithful partners at Ezera Tribal Initiative. For years, access to clean water has been a daily struggle for the children at our orphanage and Hope School, as well as for the surrounding community. Many families walked long distances to collect water—often from unsafe sources. Today, that burden has been lifted. Thanks to Ezera Tribal Initiative, this new borehole is providing safe, clean water not only to the children in our care but also to hundreds of people in the community. Children can now drink, wash, and learn in a healthier environment. Families nearby now have access to water without walking for hours. Sickness is decreasing, joy is increasing, and above all, God is glorified. We see this borehole not just as a gift of water, but as a symbol of the Living Water Jesus spoke of in John 4:14—“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” We are incredibly grateful to Ezera Tribal Initiative for standing with us in love, faith, and action. This is what the Kingdom of God looks like—people working together across nations to care for His children. Please continue to pray for our ministry as we seek to bring more holistic transformation through Christ to the vulnerable children and communities we serve. Together, we are building more than wells—we’re building lives rooted in hope.
