Alaisha lost her mother in a tragic road accident when she was just 2 years old. After the accident, she was placed in the care of an uncle who, unfortunately, did not provide the care she needed. By the time she was brought to HOU, Alaisha was severely malnourished and close to death.

She was immediately hospitalized and, with proper care and nutrition, made a full recovery.

Today, Alaisha is a bright and cheerful girl who is doing well in school. She loves to read, plays happily with other children, and enjoys writing—often practicing by scribbling in the dirt. With her gentle spirit and love for learning, Alaisha dreams of becoming a teacher one day.
